The GMT is displayed with a second central hours hand-known as the 'home time zone'-while the central hours, minutes and seconds hands denote the time wherever the wearer is on their travels; the date window at 6 o'clock is naturally synchronized with this time band. No additional controls are required to operate the GMT function: everything is done via the single, secure screw-crown at 3 o'clock. Relentless travelers in need of a third-time band can also use the bezel with its 24-hour markings. This style features the signature Alpina triangle pattern dial in a silver tone, and comes on a black rubber strap.
